The lake is totally private and has closed water status so there is no need for a licence.
The lake contains a good head of Common and Mirror Carp, an odd Catfish to over 145lb and the odd Grass Carp to 34lb.
The lake and superb Gite accommodation is exclusively for your use only, only your group so you will not have to compete or share with other angler's on the lake or anyone else on the grounds, we allow a maximum of 4 people with a maximum of 2 or 3 at our discretion fishing with 2 rods each. Please note we only take bookings for a minimum of one week. We are sorry but we do not take bookings for odd days.
We permanently live on site so are available to give you any help or advice you may need while you are here for your Carp and Catfish fishing holiday. This may be on the fishing side or to help you explore the surrounding area with its host of attractions, fine restaurants and the beautiful countryside of the Dordogne. We want your experience here to be the best you have ever had and hopefully better than you had expected.
All of our catches are recorded by our customers and friends in our log book so everyone can see what is being caught day by day and week by week, written by them not us, we have every weekly record from day one.
What we say is in the lake is there, this is backed up by our log books from day one. No half measures with accommodation, everything you should need is in there, the most beautiful of settings, and one of the most tranquil two and a half acre Carp and Catfish fishing lakes in France.
We have a good customer base of regular clients and friends but we always want to welcome new people, nearly all of our guests and friends have beaten their personal bests several times since coming here but however we cannot guarantee this will happen, so if you like being in beautiful surroundings, love nature and wildlife and enjoy catching superb hard fighting Carp and Catfish then this could be the venue for you for exclusive Carp and Catfish fishing in France, if however all you want to do is drink all day and get drunk then this is definitely not the place for you.
