Another brilliant week in our favourite bit of France.

Great fishing, great company and at last I caught my Ton up Catfish after several near misses.

But most importantly Jonah 2 and three quarters caught his first fish, a roach and loved it here, bug and frog hunting etc.

Only a year to go before we are back again.

What a phenomenal week's fishing. Beautiful holiday weather and good fishing don't normally go hand in hand!

We all had a fantastic holiday with lots of sun, fun and fish. Charlotte even caught her first carp.

Thank you Sue and Doug for making us all feel so welcome. With a special thank you to Sue for letting the fish out!

Tres Chaud! This was the phrase of the week with temps in the high 30s and low 40s.

Fishing was a little more difficult than we thought due to the heat although we did manage to catch some stunning fish, achieving a PB Catfish and Grass Carp.

Ventured out a couple of days exploring the area which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Our thanks to Sue & Doug for making us feel so welcome, great chats by the lake, good advice and brilliant company.

Really looking forward to coming back soon to catch the orange Koi that eluded us. xx

Company and Fishing absolutely first class - fish in beautiful condition and excellent fighters.

Accommodation excellent although the wine bottle store needs to be expanded!!

Fabulous time despite the weather and always enjoy the banter - keep taking the tablets Doug - you can now chill for a while in a dark room until we come again......

Had a wonderful week fishing a fantastic lake catching some truly beautiful fish in great company.

Weather didn't always play ball but that didn't spoil our enjoyment.

Can't wait to come back next year to our 2nd home!!

We've all had a fabulous week fishing Woodpecker Pool. The weather has been very mixed but we couldn't complain about the huge amount of fish caught.

Absolutely exceeded all expectations! Beautiful surroundings, a great time has been had by all.

Thank you Sue , Doug and Claire for your fantastic company and pointing Archie in the right direction. Thanks also for making our restaurant reservations.

Can't wait to return and hopefully catch a catfish.
